A strange city dude visits Castlemaine to find one of Alexander Shires proudest establishments – the Love Shack, on the main drag of town that centres operations.

Complete with some of the best tasting handcrafted local beer brewing, old school posters with personality, other trendy bric-a-brac, and painted trucks that hand deliver their stock far and wide, this is a place where some of the coolest cats in all the surrounding towns hang out.

This was indeed a strange man though, bringing the best of himself to the shack seemingly dreamed from groovy 70’s vibes. Sometimes this best of himself didn’t always include a shirt, but he happily obliged in finding one whenever he was asked.

The man always puts money over the bar, always shows care and interest in others, and tries to tell a few good stories along the way as well – even wondering about ideas as profound as the difference between faiths and belief’s, gifted or discovered with the crew of bar staff mavericks.

Seemingly, a beautiful relationship was forming… Not just with anyone’s, but the many one’s that together, forge relationships.

But one day, disaster strikes.

The man wonders over.

He’s been having a hard time.

Confusing timings from others, seemingly constantly pulling him apart from himself, and each other.

He looks forward to a space where he’s been cultivating connection.

He looks forward to a space where he can just be, and care about someone else other than himself.

The establishment turns the man away.

They had been listening to rumours from other times, and other places.

Times and places that had nothing to do with their relationships.

Times and places where there also, had not been any definable issue.

Someone had said, and someone said something to some other, and now, the Shack made a fateful decision to abandon the Love from its very own name.

They left the man on the street, with nobody. And they told the man, he would not be welcomed anymore.

The Shack is still full most days – brimming with good times and good vibes from across the lands.

The man has not been inside that or any other establishments since, still mostly hanging out with nobody…

This is NOT a Unified Ascent.
